FAQs

What exactly is GFT?

GFT (Group Functional Training) is a fitness program that will change your life! By its definition, it uses “constantly varied, functional movements performed at a relatively high intensity.” A truly versatile program, the difficulty level of our daily workouts are designed to increase or decrease depending upon the individual—making them doable by anyone!

Daily workouts could include movements such as core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, and more. All our workouts are designed to improve overall flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility.

I’m not in very good shape… can I do functional training?

Functional training does not discriminate. Whether you’re young at heart, recovering from an injury, or maybe walking the dog is the only exercise you’ve had in years, Rise will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Functional training is unique because our community consists of people from all walks of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters… you name it! Functional bodies (meaning ALL bodies!) come in every imaginable size, shape, and age. Our daily workouts are designed for anyone to participate in them. Yes, anyone!
